- כְּסוּתf. (b. h.; כָּסָה II) cover, clothing. B. Bath.9a אין בודקין לכ׳ we must not investigate in the case of a poor man asking for clothes; Y.Peah VIII, 21a, v. דִּקְדֵּק. Tam.I, 1 ומתכסין בכ׳ עצמן and covered themselves with their own (private) garments; a. fr.Y. Ḥag.II, end, 78c ואפי׳ כ׳, read כָּפוּת, v. יָבַל.
